NANJING TECHNOLOGY IMP. & EXP. CO., LTD. was established with approval of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation in 1985. It is earliest state-owned comprehensive trading company obtaining right to import and export in Nanjing. Its shareholders are China National Technical Import & Export Corporation and Jiangsu Guoxin Investment Group Limited. The company mainly engages in import and export of various commodities and technologies independently or as agent, domestic trade, sales of fertilizer, bid invitation service, technical support of integrated circuits and semiconductor equipment. In terms of import, the company has acted as agent in import of lots of technologies andcomplete equipments, trade of second-hand equipments and import, repair and technology service of parts, making great contribution to the development of local economy. The company also provides service to local governments and large enterprise groups in municipal construction, infrastructure, power energy, environment protection and technical equipments projects, and assists China National Technical Import & Export Corporation in bid invitation and procurement at home and abroad. The company started to export in 1989.
