Hebei Orient Sundar Window Co., Ltd (hereafter referred to as Orient Sundar) is the only large scale Sino-German joint venture in China mainly producing modern energy-efficient doors and windows. Orient Sundar has two industrial parks built in accordance with German industry standards (DIN), occupying a total area of 600 mu. In addition, Orient Sundar is equipped with eighteen numeric control doors and windows production lines with an annual production capacity of 550,000m2 and an annual sales volume over RMB500 millions.
Orient Sundar is a chief contributor helping to determine national standards for energy-saving doors and windows. It also owns the first province-level corporate technological center within the industry and has been granted Class A Certificates for the construction of curtain walls and the installation of metal doors. Orient Sundar produces new types of energy-efficient doors and windows such as timber mullion-transom doors and windows, German style aluminum clad wood doors and windows, solid wood doors and windows, Italian style wood-aluminum composite doors and windows, heat-insulation aluminum alloy doors and windows as well as curtain walls and conservatories. Among them, the energy-efficient timber mullion-transom-system window is an exclusive high-tech product from Orient Sundar, being a combination of more than ten patents and winner of the National Science and Technology Achievement prize in 2008.
Orient Sundar have become long term strategic partners with several well-known domestic real estate groups such as Vanke, North Star, COSCO, China Resources and Poly. In addition, Orient Sundar has a nation-wide marketing network and exports its products throughout the Middle East, North America and Europe.
