China Metallurgical Import & Export Guangdong Company, which was established in 1980, is a state-owned company well experienced in domestic trade, processing trade and foreign trade.
In January 2007, under the supervision of SASAC (State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council), the company was transferred from the subsidiary of Sinosteel Corporation to Guangdong Guangye Metallurgical Corporation Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Shaoguan Steel Corporation.
In March 31 2008, under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangdong Province, the company was transferred from Shaoguan Steel Corporation to Guangdong Rising Assets Management Co., Ltd.
After reform, the company now has 17 staff members and registered capital is 50 million Yuan RMB.

 Method of Operation:
import and export, domestic trade, compensation trade, processing of materials or samples' supplied by foreign parties, joint and cooperative projects, import and export of technical know-how or equipments.

 Business scope:
Minerals, raw materials, primary and high-grade products for metallurgical, non-ferrous, rare metals and non-metals; rare earths; refractory materials and products; industrial and daily used mechanical and electric products, metallic finished products and tools; chemicals; electronic products; instruments and meters; spare parts of industrial machinery, etc.

 Investments:
1. In 2001, the company invested in Guangzhou Yuexin Laser Science & Technology Co., Ltd, which specializes in the research, development and production of high quality laser engraved ceramic anilox roll, 90% of which are for domestic trade.
2. In 2002, the company invested in Deqing Xingbang Rare Earth New Materials Co. Ltd., which specializes in the production of rare earth oxide and salt products, 70% of which are for foreign trade.
