Founded in 1994, Wei Peng Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located in Zigong City, the economic center of southern Sichuan. It was formerly known as Zigong Southwest Cable & Wire Manufacturing Co., Ltd. In 2016, Sichuan Weipeng Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was formally established through joint-stock reform. The company occupies an area of 57 mu, with a total investment of RMB 120 million. The annual designed production capacity is 80,000 tons of steel-cored aluminum stranded wire, 20,000 kilometers of overhead insulated cable, 10,000 kilometers of power cable, 100,000 kilometers of cloth wire, and currently has more than 200 employees.
