Qinghai Salt Industry Co., Ltd. is an important component consisting the salt section of Western Mining Group Co., Ltd. which is one of the China's top 500 enterprises. Our company boasts two natural salt lakes, Chaka and Keke, with the reserve of edible salt being 1 billion tons. Through nearly 70 years of development, our company has become a provincial principal enterprise on salt industry combining production, transportation with marketing, and is one of the China's top 100 enterprises on salt mining and manufacturing.The raw materials of our products are originated from Chaka and Keke Salt Lakes in the east of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Having been formed some 120 million years ago, these two salt lakes lie at one of the four largest pollution-free zones of the world and they are the natural open edible salt mines featured with high altitude and pollution free. The content of NaCl of our products is over 96%, which complies with the highest national quality standard of edible salt. Our products are renowned for their high quality, salty and delicate flavor, as well as the pure taste. Our products consist of 3 series, industrial salt, edible salt and salt for health care with 12 varieties. Some of our products branded as Chaka were authenticated as Class A pollution-free products by China Green Food Development Center (CGFDC). In December 2009, Chaka salt products were the first to access to the protection of national geographical indication in China's lake salt industry. Our company has passed authentications of HACCP management system, ISO9001 quality management system, integrity management system, energy management system up to now.
