With over 60 years of international trading experience, Hiking Textile has developed a well trained team that is able to manage customer specific needs from raw material sourcing to fabric development, sample creation, costing analysis, factory sourcing and production monitoring till final delivery. Our merchandising team is well informed of and is able to manage the up-to-date quality assurance requirements across the globe in terms of factory sourcing, lab testing, social compliance, bulk cargo inspection at initial production run, work-in-progress and pre-shipment inspection.
Understanding the importance of total supply chain cost and supply chain integrity, Hiking Textile established its own cotton sourcing and trading arm to cut down total sourcing costs for our clients through economy of scale. This cotton-trading team has over 20 years of cotton trading knowledge and is able to source the most cost-effective cotton around the globe.
Hiking Textile has two garment-making factories of its own in China, both having on-site weaving, dyeing facilities as well. The two garment-making facilities are well recognized in Japanese market and have been proudly servicing leading retailers in Japan for many years. Apart from these two factories, Hiking Textile is working with many sub-contractors to satisfy various needs from our customers. For those sub-contractors that have cash flow problems, Hiking Textile provides financial assistances to them to ensure that production and quality are maintained at a satisfactory level.
