1.1 History of Company
China National Building Materials & Equipment Import & Export Corporation,ltd. ('the Company') was established in March 1985 as a secondary subsidiary that is wholly owned by CNBM and serves as the international interface and the logistics & trading platform of CNBM, with registered capital of RMB 1.9 billion. The company established 10 domestic subsidiaries and 25 overseas subsidiaries, including those in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, UAE, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
1.2 Company Operation
After 30 year's development, the Company has become a integrated service provider to offer general goods exportation, bulk goods importation, complete set of equipment exportation, EPC contracting, resources exploitation and E-commercial services. Focusing in CNBM Trade, CNBM Engineering, CNBM Mineral, CNBM Steel, CNBM Wood and CNBM Energy, the Company has build relationships with clients from over 160 countries. In the past five years, turnover of the Company takes 40% of the general income of CNBM, with annual compound rate of the Company reaches 31%. In 2014, the Company achieves main business income of RMB 98.4 billion, and total imports and exports of USD 5 billion.
1.3 Business Architecture
The Company's main business covers bulk commodities (iron ore, wood, steel, coal) importation and distribution, international engineering, overseas supermarket, and building materials trading, etc.
