Reorganized from the Shanghai Machinery and Equipment Imp. & Exp.Corp., and registered in Pudong new district, Shanghai in Oct 2001 with a capital of RMB3,000,000.00 Shanghai SME Imp. & Exp. Corporation is a private enterprise of corporation and are mainly dealing in the import and export of hardware, various kind of casting, hydraulic lifting devices, machines and machine accessories, equiment and production lines, engineering machinery parts, marine parts, rubber products,plastic products and metal fittings and so on. We have exported our products mainly to Europe, North America, Africa and South asia markets.
Since most of our employees are from Shanghai Machinery and Equipment Imp.& Exp. Corp., we have a team of talents who have been engaged in foreign trade for decades and possessing abundances of expertizes in foreign markets and can therefore have a sharp sense of change on the market stituation.
After establishment, our corporation are running smoothly and with a turnover of USD10 millions at end of 2002, of which 8 millions for export . we have exported various kind of commodities in value more than USD10 millions annually from 2004 to 2006. Encountered most difficult period of reduction of VAT refund rate and rapid appreciation of RMB, we still have an turnover of USD19 millions, of which USD18 millions for the export and with a profit of RMB146,000 in 2007.
At the end of first half year of 2008, the export value is over USD11 millions.
