Du-Hope International Group (the former Nanjing Machinery, Metals, Minerals, Medicines & Health Products Imp. & Exp. Corp., Ltd.) was founded in 1978. In June 1994, it became one of the first reconstructed comprehensive foreign trade companies in Nanjing. The Group now boasts a staff skilled in foreign trade, foreign languages, management, finance, storage, and shipping, who are well known for their rich foreign trade experience, high-quality and the ability to offer rapid service, as well as their advanced computerized network management system. The Group has four joint ventures, four exclusively-invested enterprises and a batch of industry and trade enterprises, in addition to branches or agencies in the U.S., Netherlands, Thailand, and Hong Kong. Since 1994, the annual import and export value has exceeded US$100 million for every year, thus ranked among the top 500 Chinese enterprises with the highest import and export value for 15 years consecutively. Because of its distinguished achievements, the company has been conferred titles including "National Advanced Foreign Trade Company", "Example of Abiding by Contract and Having Credit", "Advanced Company of Quality Control", "Company of Advanced Management", "National Advanced Machinery Enterprise". In September 2000, the company was among the first foreign trade enterprises in Nanjing to pass the certification of ISO9002.
Through its market diversification strategy, the company has covered scores of categories with thousands of types of products in the machinery, electronic, shipping, medicines, chemical, hardware, light, and textile industries, whose commodities have been sold to over 80 countries and regions worldwide.
