JIANGSU HIGH HOPE INTERNATIONAL GROUP CORPORATION

Jiangsu High Hope Group was founded in December 1996 and established by merging and reorganization of 60% of former province level foreign trade companies in Jiangsu. With approval of Jiangsu Provincial Government and authorization of the State Council, it was the only Jiangsu Province-owned enterprise being granted the authority to approve visits in foreign affairs level. In December 2015, High Hope Group, as the pilot unit for deepening the reform of state-owned enterprises determined by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, took the lead in achieving overall listing among provincial enterprises. In 2019, the Group achieved the total import and export volume of US $ 3.8 billion, of which exports accounted for US $ 2.4 billion and imports US $ 1.4 billion.
After the overall listing, High Hope Group has established the development strategy of “building a leading enterprise in modern supply chains” and clarified the three main businesses of supply chain operation, environmental protection industry, investment and finance. Among them, the supply chain operation business mainly focuses on the three major areas: green circulation, livelihood supply and industrial poverty alleviation, and tries to build six key supply chains: textile and garment, fresh food, renewable resources, pulp and paper business, green sheet and foreign trade business; environmental protection industry business firmly seizes the industry development opportunities, quickly cuts into water environment governance, hazardous solid waste treatment, etc. through equity cooperation and capital operation, forms in-depth strategic cooperation with the industry leader Dongjiang Environment, and also participates in the formation of Jiangsu Province Environmental Protection Group as the largest shareholder; investment and finance business continues to increase industrial investment, strengthen capital operations, expand supply chain finance, and has formed close coordination with supply chain operations and environmental protection industry to help the group upgrade.
In October 2018, it became one of the 266 national supply chain innovation and application pilot enterprises; in April 2020, it was evaluated by the Ministry of Commerce and other eight ministries as one of 38 “excellent” companies. As a state-owned listed company, High Hope Group will consistently adhere to the party’s leadership over state-owned enterprises, take supply chain innovation as the starting point, integrate party building and management, accelerate transformation and upgrading and achieve high-quality development, and strive to make its own contributions to stabilization of the global supply chain, foreign trade and the economic fundamentals.
