Our science and research centre was built in 2005, and has been approaching innovation, not for the sake of technology, but the benefits of families. Features must make the consumer’s life easier, and it’s an approach that our products, supply chains and services strive to build into its culture. Our success story of growth
Feilong Home Appliance Group opened its first factory in Xinpu Town, Cixi in 1995. Producing twin tub washing machines, within its first year it had sold so many units that the production lines had to be quadrupled the following year. By 1998, Feilong had become one of the major domestic suppliers of washing machines in the country and many smaller factories started to copy us due to its success. In order to turn the tide, Feilong decided to move into fully automatic washing machines and by 1999, the first production lines and moulds were completed. Just like twin tubs, our top loader models again became a domestic market leader and due to order backlogs, lead times were up to 180 days.

By 2003, Feilong had expanded its production but as with twin tubs before, more and more companies were learning from Feilong’s success and more and more factories began once again to get involved.
Late in 2003, Feilong noticed a big gap in the market, good quality chest freezers and refrigerators for affordable pricing was lacking, with most items being too expensive for most families to afford.

In 2005, Feilong welcomed its second factory, producing Chest Freezers, along with its first science and research centre in Xinpu Town. The chest freezers sold so well, that clients were consistently asking us to also produce refrigerators and, obliging the market, 1 year later our first series of refrigerator moulds opened up.

It was in 2006, when the Ningbo government came to Feilong’s offices and asked them to begin exporting their products around the world and within its first year the company had already been given the extremely coveted triple A quality license. This meant our shipments did not need to be checked by customs for quality and could speed up our deliveries to clients. It’s an honour we still hold today.

By 2008, our chest freezer and refrigerator factories were at its production capacity. Knowing that to fulfil requirements we would need to expand massively, Feilong built a new factory in the Henan Province under the brand name Combine. This factory would produce chest freezers and refrigerators as well as develop a new model, our commercial freezers, show case and refrigerated display cabinets.

In 2010, we first earned the title top 10 exporter for washing machines and refrigerators, coming in 4th and 6th respectively. Feilong had been doing so well in both the domestic market and international market that they were approached by the Jiang Su’s government officials, offering to assist in building a factory for us in there province, in a little known place called Suqian and in 2014 we built our brand new 300,000 square meter television factory and second R&D centre. We also purchased the rights and technology of the brand Huang He (Yellow River), a brand with a lot of history in the market as it had been started in 1956 and was the top TV brand in China throughout the 70’s and 80’s. Since then, Feilong has been delivering fabulous results to its clients, delivered goods to over 130 countries around the world, won several awards in both domestic and international business and continues to expand its product range… in 2018 we began producing wine coolers and in 2020 we will release a new range of retro refrigerators. We continually adapt the latest consumer insights and technology to design and build innovative products that influence trends.
