China National Scientific Instruments and Materials Import/Export Corporation (CSIMC) was established in June 1962. Its former name is China Scientific Instruments and Materials Corporation. CSIMC is a state-owned enterprise, originally under the leadership of the State Commission of Science and Technology. In 1998, with the approval of the State Council, the company was transferred and became a member under the leadership of Central Work Committee for Enterprises. In 2003, again with the approval of the State Council CSIMC was merged into China National Biotec Corporation and became a subsidiary of this group company.
With the development for more than 40 years, CSIMC grows to a comprehensive trading company in the fields of science and technology. Its business range is as following 9 areas:
1, import and export of scientific apparatus, equipment, experimental animals, medical equipment, fine chemical products, mechanical-electronic products and consumer goods
