Sichuan Foreign Trade Group Co., Ltd. (SCFTG), established in 2001, is the only professional foreign trade enterprise in the key state-owned enterprises supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province. With more than ten years' development, SCFTG gets the leading position in both export volume and profit creation in Sichuan province. Meanwhile SCFTG enters "Top 50, export volume in Sichuan" and "Top 500, Import & Export volume in China". The group leadership was awarded the title of "Advanced Team with highlights in 4 aspects" by the Organization Department of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee. As a chief sector of the circulating foreign trade industry, SCFTG together with energy, transportation, investment, finance, securities and tourism service supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province covers extensive industrial areas.

SCFTG owns four fully-invested subsidiaries: Sichuan Machinery Import and Export Corporation, Sichuan Medicines and Health Products Import and Export Corporation, Sichuan Textiles Import & Export Corporation, and Sichuan Metals & Minerals Import and Export Corporation, and its holding company Chengdu Import and Export Co., Ltd. SCFTG also shares the following as its holding or joint stock companies: Sichuan Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., Sichuan Chuancun Traditional Chinese Medicines Co., Ltd., Sichuan Bright Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., Sichuan Guangsong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Sichuan Metals & Minerals Import and Export Co., Ltd., Sichuan Textiles Import & Export Co., Ltd., Sichuan Machinery Tools Import & Export Co., Ltd., Sichuan Nitoyo Auto Spare Parts Co., Ltd., etc. Additionally, SCFTG invested about 10 entities including processing bases and OEM factories.
