Located in China's capital of spirits—Suqian, Sujiu Group boasts total assets over RMB 22.3 billion. With more than 26,000 employees, we have opened 179 branch companies and offices across the country. Our center of domestic operations is based in China's ancient capital, Nanjing.
The group owns two subsidiary brands Yanghe and Shuanggou, both of which have over 1,300 years of history. Our three production bases—Yanghe, Shuanggou and Lai'an have a total area of over ten square kilometers, made us one of the largest and most powerful liquor producers in the country.
In 2002, we first put forward the innovative series of mellow spirits: Yanghe Spirits Classic. The brand quickly became a leader of mellow spirits, with significant competitive strength in the domestic market. Driven by powerful customer satisfaction and demand, in 2011, our sales income passed the ten-billion Yuan mark. This made us the first industrial enterprise in Suqian, and the third producer of spirits in all of China to reach the ten-billion Yuan threshold.
After three consecutive years listed among Fortune magazine's 500 largest Chinese enterprises, in 2012, we successfully broke the ranks of the FT Global 500. With a brand value of RMB 32 billion, we were listed 17th in the Hurun Research Institute's 2012 rankings of Chinese enterprises, ahead of all other Jiangsu brands.
