Birchwoods (Lin'an) Leisure Products Co. Ltd is a professional innovative manufacturer of awning products. The company was founded in 1999 and has a new factory of 50,000 square meter near Hangzhou/Zhejiang Province, a two hour car drive from Shanghai. To guarantee optimal customer support and increase market share the company founded its European subsidiary Birchwood Awning Products GmbH in Weilburg/Lahn near Frankfurt in 2007.
Our company exports since seven years all over the world and maintains a friendly and steady cooperation with European DIY chain stores, professional wholesale and speciality stores. The turnover increased fourfold in the time period from 2004 to 2007. In 2005 Birchwoods successfully achieved the accreditations of ISO9001 - the International Quality Management System and ISO 14001 – the International Environment Management System.
The company owner and chief designer Steven Liu is a senior mechanical engineer with MBA degree. He has been devoted to researching and developing the awning product range since 1997 and already designed eight systems of awnings with thirty different types which enjoy a high reputation in Europe and North America. Many innovative products have been awarded SGS certificates, with more than ten patents secured in Europe and Japan. Led by Steven, Birchwoods has its professional research team, which allows for a swift and successful execution of specially designed and custom-made product orders.
